Left to right: Brian, Roy, Amos, Steve, Billy, and Sav.

Who we are:

After 15 years of working on creating and producing (together with my great friend, Jim Lownes) my 3 CDs/albums, I’ve been lucky enough to bring together this incredible group of musicians to play my songs throughout Los Angeles’ greatest live music venues.

We are a Los Angeles band. My music is classified as Indie Pop. If you get a chance to catch any of these amazing artists performing, please don’t let it go by – they’re truly fantastic.

Guitars:

Brian Price: The one and only. Brian began playing guitar in San Diego where he studied with Jazz greats Peter Sprague and Hal Crook. In 1989 he moved to L.A. and within a few years started playing with the Legendary Jazz Crusaders, a run that lasted nearly twenty-five years. Throughout that time he has toured, performed, and recorded with artists such as The Winans, John Tesh, Peggy Lee, Larry Carlton, Ronnie Laws, Patti Austin, and James Ingram among many others. Brian is also the lead guitarist in all 3 of my albums.

Keyboards:

Billy Steinway: Not only is he a fabulous keyboardist, but Billy is also an innovative and versatile composer and producer, with 20+ years of experience creating dynamic, genre-spanning music for film, radio,TV, live performances, and studio recordings. Should we do some name dropping? He’s performed with Annie Lennox, Stevie Wonder, Natalie Cole, Larry Carlton, Jeffrey Osbourne, Adam Ant, Dennis Quaid and Robby Krieger, and was also a member of the Jazz Crusaders with Patti Austin.

Bass:

Steve Billman: The King of the Low Notes – a Berklee College of Music alumnus. He not only performs but has also taught for years at Los Angeles College of Music. His vast resumé includes performances with such greats as Liza Minelli, Mike Stern, John Scofield, and Daniel Ho, and in albums, such as his own, “Odd Times for an Odd World,” or with The Odd Dogs or Daniel Ho.

Drums:

Amos Przekaza: The heartbeat of our band. We’ll call him “Famous Amos” until we come up with something more original. Amos can be found playing for several bands of many different genres all around town.

Backing Vocals:

Savannah “Sav” Shaffer: What a voice! Sav is an Orange-County-based vocalist and arranger who performs across R&B, jazz, and pop genres. She enjoys creating arrangements and collaborating with other musicians. Savannah graduated from Biola University with a degree in Commercial Voice, and is currently involved in several performing projects, including an a cappella group, while also writing and producing her own music. In addition to performing, she teaches private voice and piano lessons.

Lead Vocals & Rhythm Guitar:

Roy: Had a great 2024 with my wonderful band, playing at the most iconic L.A. live music venues.
Took 2025 off to start my 4th album, and 2026 has me returning to live performances. Please visit my site often to find out where we’re playing. We’re starting at The Canyon in Agoura Hills on April 30th and then we’re going back to the Whisky a Go Go on June 17th to play an hour of music from all 3 of my albums.

I hope to see you there!

Thank you for your support!
